The Chef

My name is Ridic Wells, and food has always been at the center of my story.


I grew up in a small town in Illinois, where my love for cooking started at a young age and quickly turned into a lifelong passion. Over the years, I've worked my way through nearly every role in the hospitality industry. From mascot to management. Helping me gain a deep understanding of what truly makes an experience memorable.


To refine my craft, I moved to Louisiana to earn my Bachelor's degree in Culinary Professionalism at the Chef John False Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University. My Time there helped shape not just my technical skills, but my appreciation for bold flavors, hospitality, and the power of food to bring people together.


Eventually, I made my way to Utah to reconnect with family and build a life in the Salt Lake Valley. It's here that I decided to take everything I've learned and create something of my own.


Today, I work for myself, as a Private Chef serving Salt Lake City and the surrounding areas, offering customized culinary experiences designed to be as memorable as they are delicious. Whether it's an intimate private dinner, interactive cooking class, or corporate team-building event, my goal is simple: to create food-driven experiences that bring people together and leave a lasting impression.
