Hi, my name is Ridic Wells, I grew up in the corn fields of Central Illinois. Even as a toddler I enjoyed baking with my mom. When I was in grade school, I would make gourmet meals for my Guinea pigs from scrap produce. From the time I could drive, my jobs have been in restaurants. I have been a host, server, worked the line in many kitchens, set up catering events, bartended, and even dressed up as the mascot Wilbur for Famous Dave's. A chance visit to Thibodaux, Louisiana landed me at an amazing culinary school, The Chef John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University. I spent three years completing my bachelor's degree and honing my culinary skills. I came to visit my aunt in Utah after graduating and never left. This place is beautiful compared to the corn fields of Illinois and the swamps of southeast Louisiana. I enjoy sharing my love and knowledge of food, whether it be through teaching others to cook or by providing intimate private dinners for clients. I am open to any opportunity that allows me to use my culinary skills as an independent chef. I hope we can enjoy some great food together!
